Heleen Matton studied political science in Leipzig, Aberdeen, and Cluj-Napoca, specializing in illiberal developments in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in democracy theory. Currently, she is a master’s student in Parliamentary Affairs and Civics at the Martin-Luther-University Halle (Saale).
