She graduated from journalism on the Belarusian State University in Minsk and obtained an MA in Gender Studies at the European Humanities University (EHU, Vilnius). She is a journalist of the information agency BielaPAN and an editor of the “New Europe” magazine. Gender studies are her profession, as well as a private passion. She is a laureate of the first Belarusian prize for journalists engaged in LGBT issues “The Pen” (2009) in the category “Journalist of the Year”. Additionally, she publishes widely in the internet magazine www.naviny.by.
