The 27th UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) will take place from 6th to 18th of November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The focus of this COP is the support of the countries of the Global South by the richer industrialised countries, which are responsible for the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions.
