
Hannah Goerlich (she/her/hers) worked as Head of Programme for EU and International Politics at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union from October 2022 to April 2025. She focused on EU Foreign and Security Policy, EU Migration and Asylum Policy, EU-China relations, the future of multilateralism and EU’s role in the world.
Before joining the Foundation, she gained diverse experience at the European Parliament, the European Policy Centre, and the State Ministry for Civil Society and Public Participation of Baden-Württemberg.
Hannah holds a double Master’s degree in ‘International Relations’ and ‘Empirical Political and Social Research’ from Sciences Po Bordeaux (France) and the University of Stuttgart (Germany). She completed a graduate certificate in ‘Conflict Analysis and Resolution’ at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution (USA).
She speaks German, English, and French.
