Lucia Siu
Programme Coordinator Transformative Technologies

Lucia is a project coordinator and researcher for issues around new technologies, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. She started her career as a technology journalist, received a PhD in sociology from the University of Edinburgh, and taught at Hong Kong's Lingnan University for 7 years. Her past projects include research on the dotcom boom and bust, commodity futures of China, performativity of markets, cross-border waste trade, and urban sociology. She also works as a volunteer guide at the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in Hong Kong's wilder New Territories.
