Marta Kalinowska

Graduated from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. She also studied culture of the Latin America at the Centre of Latin-American Studies of the University of Warsaw. In the years 2010-2013 she worked at the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection of Poland in the International Cooperation Division where she was responsible for national commitments towards the Convention on the environmental protection of the Baltic Sea (Helsinki Convention) as well as the national implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in the field of reducing the land-based pollution of the sea. In the years 2013-2022 she worked in WWF Poland first as a marine conservation specialist and later as a head of marine team, where she was planning and coordinating projects in the fields of marine biodiversity, sustainable fisheries and marine litter. Until June 2022 she was part of our Team.
