Elżbieta Mirga-Wójtowicz is graduate of the Jagiellonian University. She is finalising her PhD at the Institute of Political Science and Administration at the Pedagogical University of Kraków. She has almost 15 years of experience working in government administration on the implementation of state policy towards national and ethnic minorities, in particular the implementation of integration policy towards Roma in Poland. In the years 2008-2014, she was the Plenipotentiary of the Małopolska Voivode for National and Ethnic Minorities. In the years 2007-2017, she taught postgraduate Romani studies at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. Author of evaluation reports on Roma integration policy in Poland for the European Commission within the Roma Civil Monitor project (2017-2020) and Roma Civil Monitor II (2021-2025).
