Agata Majos studied sociology and anthropology at the University of Warsaw. She published a series of articles in Gazeta Wyborcza (in collaboration with a Polish NGO Instytut Globalnej Odpowiedzialności) about issues related to sustainable development and global inequalities. She has been active in various initiatives supporting asylum seekers; among others she worked for a Brussels-based NGO Asylos. She is interested in discursive representations of minority groups, postcolonial studies and ecology.
